Hospital uniforms, especially those worn by nurses, used to adhere to very strict codes. Each hospital makes their own rules concerning uniforms. The majority have embraced the more casual, laid back and individualized hospital uniforms that are most popular today. There is one part of the uniform that no hospital will budge on and that is wearing a badge indicating who you are and your employment status within the hospital.
